Hello, my name is April Matz and I love being a part of Kiddy City Preschool.  I have a bachelor's degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education; as well as, my Master's degree in Reading with a Reading Specialist certification.  I have enjoyed teaching in many settings in the past including preschool, elementary (numerous levels), and teaching at Reading Area Community College.  Additionally, I have enjoyed working with teens, children, and families for over the past twelve years at Mohn's Hill Church.  It has been a blessing to host a story time for preschoolers and a summer reading program for elementary students here at the church.  I love leading and teaching at Kiddy City Preschool.  It is exciting to be a part of what God is doing at Kiddy City Preschool!

Preschool Age 3/4 Lead Teacher: Jackie Ventresca ​
Jackie is dedicated to educating children in specific areas that have a definite positive affect on their future. She completed the Paraprofessional Course through the BCIU to be certified in Elementary Special Education. Jackie worked in the Kindergarten department for eleven years at Cumru Elementary School. In the past she owned dance studios and instructed her students, ages 3 years through college, in many styles of dance. Currently she coordinates Children's Church program at Mohn's Hill EC and instructs young children in acrobatics at a Birdsboro studio. Jackie is very blessed to be part of Kiddy City Staff because working with the children is such a joy!

All our staff have professional child care experience and/or education.  We have safe church policies on file including staff child abuse clearances, criminal background checks, and FBI Fingerprinting.  We stay current with first aid and CPR training.
